As the current WAN contract was about to end, the need to implement a future-proof solution became imperative.

Need for a future-proof network
As a global group with production sites in 19 countries, B.I.G. also has a great need for good network support. Increased digitalised offers, integration of cloud-based applications and emerging business requirements changed the demands on their existing network infrastructure. To ensure future growth, a redesign of their network is crucial to guarantee agility and steady performance.
Redesigning a network infrastructure is a complex initiative that not only requires expertise but also dedicated focus and impeccable project management across various departments: IT, procurement and legal, to guarantee a qualitative outcome.

The solution: Managed SD-WAN to support the data-driven future
As a first step in this project, Tam Tam Consulting started to identify B.I.G.’s business requirements as these, together with B.I.G.’s digitalised offers and cloud-based applications, determine the lay-out of the new IT architecture.
Tam Tam Consulting provided guidance to the IT team on various potential network solutions. They demonstrated that the key to success to meet their business requirements and ensure future growth is a network that is agile, highly available, offering high speed connectivity and 24/7 monitoring and management.
